More Power with NVIDIA
SoftLayer kicked their GPU offering up a notch this year by adding NVIDIA Tesla K80 dual-GPU accelerators to their accelerated computing offering. The NVIDIA Tesla K80 cards are ideal for demanding data analytics and compute-intensive applications. And customers love them:
“We leverage the latest NVIDIA GPUs, which makes it feasible to do in seconds what would otherwise take hours or even days to do on standard hardware.”

New Storage Offerings
SoftLayer also introduced new Block Storage and File Storage for bare metal and virtual servers with new Endurance and Performance classes of both solutions. The new storage offerings give users even more choice, flexibility, and control over their storage type, speed, and durability, letting them further optimize their cloud infrastructure’s performance and cost.
